OUR PURPOSE
NORTHEAST CAREGIVERS OF AUSTIN is a coalition of
neighborhood-oriented organizations which offers a wide range of
volunteer services to older adults who live within its community
or who are members of sponsoring organizations.

OUR SERVICES
Information and Referral
Assistance with locating needed community
resources and / or services.
Social Contact and Community Involvement
Helping isolated older adults through visits,
telephone contact and appropriate programs.
Transportation
Providing volunteer transportation
to medical appointments, grocery
shopping, and personal business.
Nutrition
Providing help with grocery shopping
and delivery of meals on a short term
basis during times of ilness.
Errands
Delivery of prescriptions and other
emergency items.
Paperwork
Assisting with filling out insurance
forms and other paperwork.
Repair Serivce
Providing minor household repairs.
Counseling
Helping older adults cope with problems
of daily living through appropriate referrals.
Loan Closet
Lending of wheelchairs, walkers, and
other medical equipment.
FUNDING
We are supported by contributions from sponsoring
churches, neighborhood organizations, individuals,
foundations, private grants, and corporate donations.

FEES
There is no charge for any of our services, except
for reimbursement of the cost of parking and meals.
Clients wishing to may make a contribution for
services, payable to NorthEast Caregivers of Austin.
