Travel to...layover in Houston, TX...
" the kids were broken up into
groups with adult leaders and sent off on an airport scavenger hunt
which included the task of each doing a "random act of
kindness" in the airport. From what I heard, it was wild
and crazy, lots of fun, and lots of energy was used up.
They met up with Jim N. and including
Jim, there were 20 in the group of bright yellow shirts! Just
before flight departure, they were having a briefing from Jim about
what to expect when they landed and receiving last minute
instructions." D.A.
Nicaragua at last...
"The group arrived without a
hitch and they are presently sitting outside at their
"hotel" under cover and it's pouring rain. ...
from the time they arrived it felt like they were in a
sauna. The accommodations sound bare bones, each room full
of bunk beds, but they are safe and happy to be there.
Tomorrow they begin work and will work
both on the library and on a kitchen at the school." D.A.
