Worship at Mays Chapel
We offer three Sunday worship services to meet the
needs of the community. Whether you prefer to worship earlier or
later on Sunday mornings, enjoy a traditional service or would like a
contemporary one, Mays Chapel has a service for you!
Sunday School classes for adults and youth meet
between the 8:30 and 10:45 AM services; visit the pages for Adult
Ministry and Youth Ministry for more
information.
8:30 AM Traditional Service
Held in the Stone Chapel While we use traditional hymns and
always serve communion in this service, the feel of this service
is very warm and relaxed. The people love to greet one
another and encourage one another in Christ — before, during, and after the service. New
friends and old acquaintances often go out for brunch together
afterward.

10:45 AM Contemporary Service
Held in the Worship Center Two excellent worship teams
alternate leading this upbeat worship service of contemporary
praise. Members of all ages come “dressed as they are” and
children and youth are often seen participating in the service
through music, puppets, and drama. Many of our older members
love this service because it is so full of life!
A professionally staffed nursery is available during this
service.

10:45 AM Traditional Service
Held in the Stone Chapel Finally, a traditional
service, in a traditional space, held at a traditional time.
Our newest worship service is
led by former Conference Cabinet Dean and District
Superintendent Reverend Ed Ankeny. Rev. Ankeny has the
ability to bring meaning, dignity, and warmth to the worship
of our Lord. We expect this service will be exactly what
many people have been looking for in our community. A
professionally staffed nursery is available during this
service, in the Worship Center.
