Finding Mays Chapel UMCOur three church buildings are located at 11911 Jenifer Road in Timonium, Maryland. From the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) take I-83 North to the Padonia Road exit (Exit 17). Turn left (west) from the exit ramp onto Padonia Road, and drive about a mile. Turn left onto Jenifer Road. Proceed about a quarter of a mile on the and look for Mays Chapel UMC on the left. Our
three church buildings can be confusing to visitors and guests.
Our newest building is the Worship Center. This is where our
contemporary service is held at 10:30 am on Sundays, as well as where
Sunday School, Youth Group, and several Small Group Bible Studies meet.
This building is the furthest north on Jenifer Road, and its parking lot
is accessed from Jenifer Road.
Our
middle building is known as the Stone Chapel. Here we hold our
traditional services (8:30 am and starting Oct 2nd, 11 am also), along
with the occasional mid-week evening service. The Stone Chapel is
located at the northeast corner of Jenifer and Mays Chapel Roads, and
its parking lot is accessed from Mays Chapel Road.
Our
oldest building is the original 1854 Mays Chapel meeting house.
The 1854 Building is located on the southeast corner of Jenifer and Mays
Chapel Roads.
