Rev. Doug Hays, Pastor

"I really enjoy serving Mays Chapel. The people
radiate a wonderful warmth, grace, and hunger for the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is my dream that together we can continue to build a church that will
help our members, our community, and our world come to know Jesus as
Savior and serve Him as Lord."
Ministry
Focus
Pastor Doug loves to help people be "met and sent" by Jesus -- to help
people experience the love God through Jesus Christ, discover God's
purpose for their lives, and then turn them loose to serve the
community. He has a strong emphasis on the local church getting
involved in local, national, and international missions. Pastor
Doug's gifts as a leader, preacher, and team builder serve his ministry
to Mays Chapel.
Family
Pastor Doug is married to Reverend Lori Hoffman Hays, a United
Methodist pastor currently serving at the Holy Land Christian Ecumenical
Foundation. He has two children: son Evan is a pursing a master's
degree in history at the University of Maryland, while daughter Colleen
is a junior at Eastern University in Pennsylvania. Pastor Doug's parents
and two brothers live in the Annapolis area, and his third brother is
serving as a missionary in Holland.
