WORD SEARCH FOCUS FOR FALL
Preschoolers will search step by step through the creation
story, beginning with “Let there be Light” and culminating with
a day of rest (and celebration). Each week they will take a look
at aspects of God’s creation and become familiar with the idea
that God called it all very good.
Elementary students (grade K-5) will be searching through the
Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17). God made a covenant with the
Israelites in the Ten Commandments. Today, these laws help us
know how to Love and Worship God and help us know how to treat
others with justice and kindness. Scripture focus will be on the
commandments themselves in Exodus as well as Psalms 119:34 “Give
me understanding, that I may keep your law and observe it with
my whole heart.”

serve as disciples of Christ in the world and to
bring others into discipleship". The
collection includes information and inspiration
for lay leadership, program areas, and the needs
of individual parishioners - adults, youth and
children. CD disks and the jewel cases are also
available.
The
