New Sunday School Curriculum Introduced for
K-5 grades!
Sunday School took on a new face! Introducing the
Rotational Style teaching using the Power eXpress curriculum
available through Cokesbury! Using this model of presentation,
students will be exposed to broad topics of study such as the
“Feast of Festivals” that Jesus would have celebrated or
“Digging into the Bible” over the course of 8 weeks. Four age
levels will visit “station” instructors, who will teach a given
lesson to a group of students in a single method of teaching.
Groups would travel with shepherds through a series of single
method classes over a number of weeks. This is an example only
to illustrate:

In this model, students will get the opportunity
to experience the topic indepth in eight different ways –not
only varying the particular aspect of the topic, but the method
of teaching with each week.
The classes for the 6th grade
through 8th grade meet together in one room.
The high school Sunday school class meetings together in one
classroom.
These two classes have similar lessons as the K-5th but do not
participate in the rotation.
If you would like to get more information about
