The Home’s nursing rehabilitation program addresses skills such as ambulation, feeding and grooming, communication, bed mobility and splint/brace application. This program is completely tailored to the needs of the individual. A multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, a doctor, a registered nurse, a speech therapist, a recreational therapist and other specialists as needed convene to develop a customized Care Plan.

In addition to the 24 hour nursing care, we offer a full range of rehabilitation services, counseling and support programs to Residents and their families.

A full, state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Suite will be available in the spring of 2008.

Through the years, the Methodist Church Home has developed highly skilled and fully integrated programs of special services to meet everyone’s needs.
