Welcome...our doors are open!

We celebrate and worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a traditional Wesleyan manner that is appropriate to the beliefs of the universal church and the United Methodist Church.

We are a "no frills" congregation, meaning we invite our members and guests to come as they are to church on Sunday mornings.  We don't mind those that come to church in casual dress attire.  Formal dress clothing is still encouraged though.

We sing hymns from the United Methodist Hymnal which are accompanied by our musicians: Joyce Scheider, Pat Miller and Sandra Klontz (piano), and Wilma Zimmerman (organ/chimes).  At times we invite a guest musician to come sing or play for us.  We also mix in contemporary music into the worship services.

Holy Communion is performed every first Sunday of each month of the year.  We offer an open table, meaning everyone is welcome to participate in the Eucharist.

We love to invite the congregation to take an active role in the worship services every week.  Some of the duties our congregation has been involved in through the services are candle lighting (acolyte), ushering, taking the tithes and offerings, reading scriptures, singing, playing a musical instrument, and filling the pulpit while the pastor is away.

We have bulletins printed to make the order of worship easier to follow for regular attendees and visitors alike.  Special children's bulletins and fun kits are distributed to the little one's before the services as well.  We try to accommodate all.

Once each month we hold a service dedicated to the Youth of the church, respectfully entitled "Youth Sunday".  We understand the importance of having young people in the presence of worship to better educate themselves on who Christ the Lord is and how to live a Christian life to the fullest.  During these special days, our Youth, led by Jenny Bronkema, assist in planning a skit for the children to participate in during the children's sermon.  The kids also take the offering, light candles, sing a contemporary song, etc. on Youth Sunday's.
