School of Christian Missions: The theme for the 2007 School of Christian Mission is “Sing Across The Walls!” The studies are: Music and Mission , Globalization, and Israel-Palestine. It will be held July 19-22 at Mount Wesley. You can find out more information on the SWTX Conference UMW Website Mission Tour: The Southwest Texas Conference UMW sponsored a Mission Tour to tour the missions of the Women's Division and General Board of Global Ministries in the SWTC. The tour will began on April 26, 2007, at the Good Neighbor Settlement House located in Brownsville. From there the tour traveled to Laredo to visit the Holding Institute, then visited Wesley Community Center in Robstown and Corpus Christi. The tour ended in San Marcos with a visit to the Southside Community Center. Further details are available from Junell Treece, SWTC Mission Coordinator for Education and Interpretation. District Website: The new district website is well under way. To make this website a success, I need help from women in the district . Purpose:
The organized unit of
United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose
