David Clyle Morse

David Clyle Morse serves as Minister of Music and Discipleship. He is a renowned pianist and organist, directs the Chancel Choir, and provides member care in visitation and faith development through small group participation. He is the creator of our Kids-on-Keyboards music ministry. This project brings elementary school children to the Church where Mr. Morse leads workshops on the sound and science of organ music. Private tutorials are arranged for children and adults. Concerts performed by Mr. Morse and guest organists are part of the festivities.

Mr. Morse earned a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Hartford, and has a Masters of Divinity from the Boston University School of Theology.

To hear a sample of Mr. Morse's exquisite playing, click here:  Ave Maria (Johann Sebastian Bach/Charles-Mare Gounodo).   This song is one of 14 on his CD, available out our Church Store, entitled Music at Mathewson, Vol. I: Music of the King of Instruments.

Throughout the year, Mr. Morse offers an inspiring performance the third Thursday evening of the month as part of Providence's "Gallery Night."

  Al Seguin

Al Seguin and his wife Doris have been faithful and giving members of MSUMC for more than 5 decades. He has been on the MSUMC's Board of trustees since the 1970s and has chaired it several times over the years. He has also been our Building Manager for more than decade, and we have relied upon him to maintain our heating and cooling systems, as well as to handle all the little -- and occasionaly big -- emergenices that can and do crop up with a building that was erected in 1951. We are blessed by his extensive knowledge,  hard work, and deep love for our church.

  Audie Jennings

Audie Jennings and her husband Bill have been members of MSUMC -- and faithful servants to its missions -- for nearly three decades. Attracted to our church "because of its urban mission, location, and faith journey support," Audie has served in a number of capacities including, at present, Chair of the Church Council and Member of the Trustees.

She holds a B.S. and M.Ed. from Pennsylvania State University in Rehabilitation Counseling. Her employment has mostly been in mental health group homes and rehabilitation programs, as well as in the directing of middle-school Community Service Learning and Mentoring programs.

Audie volunteers her time and energies throughout the year, and we are blessed by the intelligence, creativity, and wit that she brings to so many of MSUMC's community events and activities.
