How You Can Help
As observed by the Apostle Paul on
several occasions (e.g., in his letter to the Romans, chapter 12,
verses 3–8), each of us has been graced with a
set of gifts that we can use to continue Christ's work here on earth.
Below are a few ways in which you might share of yourself ...
Donate Money:
The day-to-day costs of maintaining our
facilities and supporting our many ministries are significant. Please
consider giving a donation by credit card or check. To pay by credit
card, click on the Visa/MasterCard icon below. Checks should be made
payable to Mathewson Street UMC and mailed to the following
address.
Donate Your Time and Talents: Please check the "Our Ministries" link to
view the many Christian ministries sponsored by our Church.
Consider volunteering to participate in one of them. For
example, you may want to show up to the Church at 4:30 on a Friday
afternoon and help
prepare or serve the weekly Community Meal. Please call staff member

Donate Food and Other Items: Our daily Food Pantry is always
in need of nonperishable food items, e.g., canned and packaged goods.
