but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the message of the gospel, even so we speak, not to please mortals, but to please God who tests our hearts. Welcome to the First United Methodist Church of Marysville and its web site! With over 158 years of faithful ministry in the Methodist tradition, the church today reaches out to the community, embracing our rich cultural diversity and serving in new, life-affirming ministries. Our mission is "to be an inclusive community of faith that invites, nurtures and creates faithful disciples of Jesus Christ to send into the world to make it more loving and just". Three Sunday worship services, in a beautiful, traditional sanctuary, reflect our commitment to enable people to know God's loving presence and experience being welcomed into the family of Christ. We’re looking for volunteers! The 9 a.m. Praise Team and 11 a.m. Chancel Choir are in need of singers. This is your opportunity to use your time and talent to Praise the Lord through song!
