United Methodist Men
The men of Marksville United Methodist Church are noted for their annual Barbecue dinner held on the first Friday after Easter. This is the main fundraiser for the group, and the proceeds are used for the upkeep of the church and parsonage, as well as miscellaneous expenses of the church.
The men also sponsor an Advent breakfast, held each Monday during Advent. Men from all denominations are invited to attend and participate in fellowship and devotion.
