Christian Education

The Sunday School program offers classes for all ages, preschool through adult.  Biblical knowledge and faith are communicated in a warm and friendly environment.  For children, music is also an important part of our program.  All classes meet at 9:45 a.m.  Sunday School during the summer is a one-room schoolhouse model.

N.E.T.

N.E.T. (Never Enough Time), is a ministry for mothers and caregivers of infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers.  The second Thursday of the month (September through May) from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.  Volunteers provide child-care, games, stories, music, crafts and healthy snacks for the children.  A time of fellowship, support and programs is provided for the mothers right next door in the Parish Hall.  NET photos

Scouting

The United Methodist Men sponsor Boy Scout Troop #94 and Cub Scout Pack #94.  The troop meetings are in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings.  Scouting is open to all boys ages 11 to 18, and Cub Scouting is open to all boys from 1st grade to age 11.  Pack meetings are held the last Monday of each month in the Parish Hall (or Mariposa Park during the summer).

While not sponsored by our church, three troops of our Mariposa Girl Scout Council meet in our Parish Hall.
