Adult Ministries

United Methodist Women

        Mariposa United Methodist Women (U.M.W.), meet monthly for fellowship, spiritual enrichment, education and participation in the global ministries of the church.  All women are invited to attend this active group.  The dates and times of the meetings are published in the bulletins, U.M.W. handbook, and the newsletter, “The Spire.”

        U.M.W. activities include an annual Mother/Daughter Dinner and High School Senior Brunch.  Proceeds from the Bazaar, held in November, provide most of the funds to support local and global missions.

United Methodist Men

        Mariposa United Methodist Men (U.M.M.), meet for breakfast on the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m.  All men of the church and community are invited to join in the meetings which include prayer, program, business and good fellowship.  The United Methodist Men sponsor the local Boy Scout Troop #94 and Cub Scout Pack #94.  The group also supports national projects of the U.M.M. such as the Upper Room prayer ministry.

The Well

        "The Well" is a weekly informal fellowship, a place where we seek the living waters - nourishment for our spiritual journeys, and a deeper understanding of our relationship with God.  Through Bible study, prayer, discussion, fellowship, caring and searching, we seek to hear that "still small voice" that guides our daily lives and tasks.  Everyone is invited to attend.  We meet every Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
