Vacation Bible School

Come join us for Camp E.D.G.E. (Experience and Discover God Everywhere) from Sunday July 12 through Friday July 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night! This adrenaline-filled, creative Bible-based program will bring your children closer to God when they discover that God is with them at all times, in all places, and in all circumstances, ready to help them and guide them. They will also come to know Jesus as their friend and Saviour who went to the extreme for them.

All children ages three through entering fifth grade are welcome. Click here for a registration form that can be printed out and returned to the church office.

Mission Jar Offerings July and August

The Mission Jar offerings collected in July and August will go toward the following Mission Jubilee projects:

Advance #982874 US-2 Program - Young adults (20-30) who serve 2-year terms throughout the US, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Advance #161125 Baldwin Church and Center - Tutoring, meals for homeless persons, adult/youth mentoring and other services for the community of the inner city of Pontiac, Michigan.

Community Blood Drive

The American Red Cross needs your help now more than ever. Blood collections are low and accidents are high. An hour of your time can make a lifetime of difference to southeastern Michigan patients.

The blood drive will be right here at Marble Memorial United Methodist Church on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Appointments are not necessary, but you may schedule one by calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visit www.givelife.org and enter sponsor code: MARBLEMEMORIAL. Walk-ins are also welcome!

What do you enjoy doing? What are you good at? These are the things the church would like to know so that you can 'plug yourself in' in areas of personal interest and skill. A downloadable Talent Information Form is available on our website. Please note that you can either print it and fill it out by hand, or fill it out on your computer, and then print it. Thanks!
