Poinsettias for Christmas

Poinsettia orders are being taken NOW! Click here for an order form. Poinsettias will be displayed on December 6, 13 or 20 (your choice) and can be picked up after the morning worship service. Please pre-pay and include the order form. In lieu of a poinsettia, you may also give a monetary donation (to go toward apportionments) in honor or memory of a special person. Deadline for ordering is Tuesday, November 17, 2009.

Mission Jar Offerings November and December

The Mission Jar offerings collected in November and December will go toward the following Mission Jubilee projects:

Advance #418242 Child to Child Health - Provides basic health care for children in Haiti.

Advance #10010T Ganta UM Hospital, Liberia - Provides emergency support in Ganta, Liberia.

Talent and Skill Form

What do you enjoy doing? What are you good at? These are the things the church would like to know so that you can 'plug yourself in' in areas of personal interest and skill. A downloadable Talent Information Form is available on our website. Please note that you can either print it and fill it out by hand, or fill it out on your computer, and then print it. Thanks!

Wreath and Garland Sale

It's time to order your Christmas wreaths and garland. All proceeds support WWYSE - our Senior High Youth Group. Last date to order is November 29th. Items will be ready for pickup on December 6th in the Senior High Youth room during Fellowship time. Click here for an order form.

Calling ALL Crafters!

For a craft show at Clinton UMC on November 7th and our own Holiday Goodie/Craft Sale on December 5th.

The United Methodist Women will be participating in both of these sales and we need your help! We are looking for donations of new craft items or, if you don't craft may you consider making a financial donation to cover costs?

Our Crafty Ladies will be meeting each week in October and November on Tuesdays at 2:45 p.m. and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. You can also work at home on your own!

Nut Policy Rescinded

An All Church Council Meeting was held after services on October 25, 2009. By unanimous vote, the Nut Free Policy has been rescinded. Marble Memorial UMC asks its members and constituents to practice "responsible nut labeling" for food products served on the premises.
