Help Bring Our 1842 Church into the 21st Century We are currently fundraising to replace our church's roof. The cost is going to be over $16,000. We are at least $6,000 away from our goal. We have held one fundraiser a month since the beginning of the year. The fundraisers have raised a little but our community is very small and earning the amount needed for this roof will be a long and slow process. We have held bake sales and a made-to-order pie sale for Father's Day. Our big fundraiser in April was the annual chicken barbeque at the CNY Marathon Maple Festival. We use the proceeds from this annual event to help us to get caught up on our monthly bills. Would you like to be part of the solution? We are a small church, one of six in a community of just over a thousand persons. The community is stable and going through a change. During the change, our old building is in need of a new roof and other small repairs. The problem is the cost is not small. We are looking for both the replacement of the roof at $16,000 and the need to make the church handicap-accessible. The layout would require four stair lifts or, as we hope, an elevator.
