Maple Avenue Chancel Choir

The Maple Avenue United Methodist Chancel Choir meets each Thursday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the choir room located behind the sanctuary, from September through June. Each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. the choir meets for warm-ups and a brief run through of the anthem, prayer response, and introit. The thirty-member chancel choir performs anthems that range in time periods from classical to contemporary sacred music. The Chancel Choir hosts guest performers, performs at local events and performs Christmas and Easter Cantata with a chamber orchestra. The chancel choir is open to anyone who likes to sing. United Methodist Youth Fellowship

The Maple Avenue United Methodist Church Youth Group meets every Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:15 p.m. in the Family Life Center. The youth from 11 to 15 are invited to attend. Come and have fun and fellowship.

Maple Avenue United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ to develop a creative, supportive, fellowship, and to expand concepts of missions through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Maple Avenue United Methodist Women are involved in several activities through the church during the year. The activities include: Missions, Turkey Dinners, Rummage Sales, Bakeless Sales, Quilting, and Noodle making. If you like more information, please call the church.

Euchre Fellowship

Euchre Fellowship meets once a month on a Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. Please call the church office for information on the date. The cost is $2.50 per person. The women are to bring a snack and the men are bring a 2-liter bottle of cola. Please come and have fun.

Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain is for anybody that is sick or in need of a prayer. E-mail the church office with your concerns.
