Hello and Welcome to the Main Street Methodist Church's Home Page We are a small church located at 1100 West Main Street, Albemarle near the intersections of both Main Street and Concord Road and Main Street and Coble Avenue.
Our pastor is Reverend David Rorie. He is a native of Wadesboro, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Pfeiffer College (B.A) and Vanderbilt Divinity School (M.Div). He and his wife Ann and their children came to Main Street in June of 1995.
At Main Street we desire to touch other people's lives with the love of Jesus Christ. This means touching each other's lives as we care for one another in Christian love. But it also means reaching out across Stanly County, the United States, and the World to minister to others as servants of Christ. We have opportunities for all ages to participate and be involved to be ministering to the Lord. We believe that every person is talented and has an interest in some area or the other. We have a friendly atmosphere and we welcome all people of all ages to come and join us in spreading the word of Christ to the world.
