Nursery

Our nursery is always staffed with two loving, trained professionals and with other caring volunteers. The toddler nursery is located in Room 108 and the infant nursery is in Room 106. These rooms are located down the hallway between the Social Hall and the Welcome Center. The nursery is open on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and during special services and activities as needed.

Prayer

If you have a prayer request, please let us know during prayer time during the worship service and the entire congregation will pray with you and for you. You may also e-mail your requests to us at lynnumc@mindspring.com. Requests for prayer can also be written on the forms on the church prayer list in the bulletin and placed in the offering plate when it is passed. We believe in the power of prayer and pray for one another continually.

Music

We love to sing and we have number of choirs for different ages. We have two children’s choirs that practice at 6:30 on Wednesday nights. Our Men’s Chorus and Adult Choir practice on Wednesday nights. We also have a Handbell Choir. We always welcome guests and new members to our choirs. Jana Kuenzli is our Music Director.

Wonderful Wednesdays

We have a Wednesday program that begins with supper from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday supper is a great time to get to know people. There are usually about 60 or 70 people for dinner. We ask that you make reservations for dinner with a card in the pews on Sunday morning, or call the church office at 340-5682. We also have programs and choirs for all ages after dinner. Children’s choirs, Men’s Chorus, and the Adult Choir all practice on Wednesday night. Church is a great place to be on Wednesday night!

Children

During the Sunday morning worship services, children may leave for Children’s Church after the Children’s Message. There are also worship folders with activities for children that can be picked up as children enter the worship service. We also offer Bible lessons and choirs for children on Wednesday nights. We also enjoy a number of other special activities for children throughout the year. We have summer daytime Vacation Bible School that is one of the highlights of our year. Debbie Andrews  is our coordinator of Children’s Ministries.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School classes meet each Sunday morning at 10 a.m. We have classes for all ages from toddlers to adults. Younger children have individual classes for their age groups. Elementary children rotate in classes that include drama, art, video, and Temple. There are several Sunday School classes for youth and for adults that vary in format from lecture to discussion.
