The mission of Lanham United Methodist Church is to be the community's link to God and an example for living through faith and worship according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

We will seek a spiritual awakening by spreading the message of Jesus, strengthening moral values, ministering to family needs, assisting the sick and needy, and providing Christian fellowship.

All this will be done by God's grace and through God's will for Lanham United Methodist Church in Jesus Christ.
