Stacey Bernal, Christian Education and Youth Coordinator
E-mail: Stacey Bernal
As Christian Education Coordinator, Stacey ensures that all our churchgoers are spiritually enriched. She works with over 20 teachers who provide Sunday morning classes for ages
three through adult. The age-appropriate curriculum inspires young minds to follow Jesus and prepares their hearts to serve God while keeping the children entertained. In the
summer, she facilitates Vacation Bible School inviting children from the community. Stacey also helps coordinate adult education classes both on Sunday and weekday mornings as well
as weekday evenings. Stacey believes that continuing to grow and learn in our faith journey is a vital part of spiritual life.
In her role as Youth Ministries Coordinator, Stacey recruits leadership and provides oversight for three youth groups for students from 4th through 12th grades: RAD (Radically
Active Disciples) provides an opportunity for 4th through 6th graders to gather for both spiritual and social activities. The Junior and Senior High United Methodist Youth group
meetings provide time for fellowship and lively discussions, which are centered on the concerns of today’s youth.
