Saturday, August 29.  Although it was the end of the month, the very heavy rains kept people away, and the Long Plain volunteers served "only" 73 families ( a quiet week these days.)  With two fairly slow weeks during the month, August ended with an average of 92 families per week. 
 
Looking ahead, the next Boston Food Bank delivery will  be next Tuesday, September 8th.  Next delivery: Oct. 13th.

We are collecting items that can be used for Thanksgiving baskets like stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes and pudding or pie filling.  Pass the word if anyone asks what to donate. Thank you for your help !!
