A Little History...
Lohr's Memorial UMC was founded in 1847. It is
named after Martin Lohr, a Hanover
pastor with the former United Brethren
Church--one of the predecessors of today's United Methodist Church.
We invite you to
join us as we share the Good
News of Jesus Christ. The worship center is located at the intersection of
Locust and Middle Streets near downtown Hanover. Follow York Street (PA Route
116) 2 blocks east from Center Square. Turn left (northeast) onto E. Middle
Street and proceed one block to the church. (Click for map.) Off-street
parking is available in the front and the rear. Handicapped access and the
church office are located in the rear.
