Women's Association

Mission Statement: The UCWA shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative and supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

History: The UCWA was started when our two congregations merged. The organization is based on information taken from both United Methodist Women and United Church of Christ Women’s organizations. The finished product is strictly a First United Church community of women, dedicated to raising funds for mission projects in support of both the UMC and UCC conferences, as well as local and joint projects.
