We are the people of Linn Grove United Methodist Church, one family in Spirit, united by the love of Jesus Christ our Savior, and committed to serve God the Father. God blessed Linn Grove with a rich heritage, which parallels the roots of Wesleyan tradition. In 1852 our first meeting took place in a log cabin, and we were pastored as part of a Methodist circuit. Linden trees growing in the area gave the church its name. From these humble beginnings, we dedicate ourselves, like our founders, to providing spiritual bridges to the future, and ourselves to the following principles:

• To grow our congregation, and the body of Christ world wide, by planting seeds of the gospel.
• To develop programs which inspire and provide value to church members and to the community.
• To support the spiritual journey of each member by encouraging a prayerful, ever-growing, and personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• To passionately welcome everyone who enters our door.
