The Wiberts began their ministry at Lincoln Hills UMC on July 3, 2005. Jerry grew up in Michigan and oregon and has spent most of his adult years in Indiana. kathy was born and reared in the foothills of the Missouri Ozarks. She also has lived in Indiana long enough to be called a Hoosier. Between them, they have 7 children - 4 girls and 3 boys and 13 grandchildren. Their families are scattered from Washington State, Texas, Kentucky to florida. One daughter and grandson live in Indianapolis.

Jerry attended college in Huntington, IN and received his master of divinity from Asbury Seminary in Kentucky. he has served churches in the new Albany, Vincennes, Bloomington, and Indianapolis Districts. He also worked for Vincennes University for a time and ran his own insurance agency before re-entering the ministry 9 years ago. His passions are running, studying, and any outdoor activity. His main weakness is anything chocolate.

kathy attended Cape Girardeau State College and has worked as a newspaper lifestyle editor for the Vincennes Sun-Commercial and as shipping supervisor in a ball-bearing plant. She loves readying, music, and Wendy's Frostys, in that order. jerry says, "We looked forward to moving back to Southern Indiana and the beautiful Lincoln Hills areas as pastor of the Lincoln Hills United Methodist Church. It is our hope and prayer that we can work together to fulfill what the Lord's Prayer reminds us to be about, "They Kingdom come, on earth, as it is in heaven."
