Mission Statement
The LUMC sees its missions as being one to further the teachings of the Word of God and to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We seek to fulfill this calling by helping all persons grow in their commitment to Jesus Christ. We will do this by providing nurturing opportunities for worship, fellowship, and service in this community and beyond.

The present mission statement was adopted in 2001 by the Ad Board and approved at the Charge Conference in November of that same year..
