Our services of worship reflect the rich liturgical heritage transmitted to the Methodists people by its founder John Wesley. We draw upon the diverse hymnody of the United Methodist Hymnal, singing hymns that span the generations, from the 13th century text "All Creatures of our God and King," to "Here I Am Lord," a hymn text of the late 20th century. Trinity's chancel choir sings most Sundays during the school year at the 10:30 AM service, frequently offering contemporary pieces. Rev. Jones's sermons attempt to find the connection between the world of the gospel with the world in which we live. The congregation celebrates holy communion on the first Sunday of the month, and baptisms are scheduled upon request. Children are invited to participate in an age-appropriate worship experience during the 10:30 service. Nursery care is also provided during the 10:30 AM service. |
