Excitement grows at preschool as we prepare for a new school year!  

We officially begin on Wednesday, September 3rd, with an Open House!  On that day, all of our students are invited to visit their classrooms at various times throughout the day.  We finish the week with parent meetings for the 3’s on Thursday, September 4th, and parent meetings for the 4’s on Friday, September 5^th at 11:00 a.m. on both days.  These parent meetings are a wonderful opportunity for our parents to meet, learn about our program, ask questions, and discover what events are planned for the upcoming year!  Classes begin on Monday, September 8^th, for the 4’s and Tuesday, September 9^th for the 3’s.  How exciting that first day of school can be, especially for our 3’s, entering school for the first time!   We jump into our fall curriculum and attend our first family outing Friday, September 12^th at the 1st Mariner Arena seeing the Sesame Street Live performance entitled Elmo’s Green Thumb!  Everybody loves Elmo and the rest of the Sesame Street cast as they teach us about our ecosystem in a kid friendly manner.

As school begins so do our Fall fundraisers!   We start with the fall/winter catalogue from Current.  Make your holiday shopping a breeze by ordering early from our catalogue.  See any preschool staff member or preschool family to view this year’s catalogue.  So, welcome back to preschool and even though summer vacation ends, Fall brings new opportunities of growth and learning!  May God bless our preschool families as they adjust to these new and exciting changes in their lives.
