Worship is the most important work of the church. The people of God exist to serve God. No higher service to God is possible than the worship of God.

Two blended worship services of contemporary and traditional music are held weekly which include a Children's Talk and Nursery.

1st Worship Service - 8:00 A.M.
Sunday School (all ages) - 9:15 A.M.
2nd Worship Service - 10:30 A.M.

COORDINATOR POSITIONS OPEN
We are looking for volunteers to fill the Church Picnic Coordinator position, and the Family Ministries Coordinator position.  If you are willing to serve or have questions about the positions, please contact the church office at 938-2093.

CLOSING CLOSET NOVEMBER HOURS
The Closing Closet will be closed Black Friday, Nov. 27th, but will reopen as usual on Saturday, Nov. 28th.  It will also be closed during the month of December due to the Christmas Holiday, and will reopen in January as usual.  Contact Jan Freet (938-5394) for any emergency needs.

RED LAND FOOD BANK NEEDS BAR SOAP
Please help.  A collection box is located at the Information Table.

CHURCH CHARGE CONFERENCE
Mark your calendars for our Church Charge Conference on Sunday, December 6th at 7:00 with our District Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Dennis Keller.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.

A SERVICE OF COMFORT AND PEACE
On Tue, Dec. 8th at 7:00 pm, we will hold “A Service of Comfort and Peace”.  The loss of a loved one, a job, the continuing pressure of life – all can bring a sense of darkness at this time of year.  This service provides a safe place for people to acknowledge the culture-driven quest for a Merry Christmas does not reflect what they are going through.  Come join us in the sanctuary.  God’s church welcomes our darkness because it provides a place to remember the light of Christ has been sent to overcome it.

POINTSETTIAS
Beautiful Poinsettias will decorate our Church during the Christmas season!  Orders will be taken through November 29th.  Order forms are included in the bulletin, and on the Information Table.  Poinsettias can be purchased in honor or in memory of a loved one.

Please attach your check made payable to Lewisberry United Methodist Church.  A designated box will be at the Information Table in the hallway for your completed order form and checks.  Any questions, contact Doris Keister at 938-8030.

WOMEN’S CIRCLE FUNDRAISER
Good news.  The Women's Circle has more fiber cloths to sell.  They were such a big hit we ordered more.  They are available on the Information Table.  If there are none there please see Janelle Winebrenner (691-1414) or Deb Harris (938-6081) and we will see that you are accommodated.  The price has remained $4.00 for each cloth.

“CELL PHONES FOR SOLDIERS” COLLECTION DRIVE
Help his non-profit organization raise funds to help keep our troops connected with their families by donating your old cell phone.  Each phone provides an hour of talk time for a soldier abroad.  Visit www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com, contact Heffner Funeral Chapels of York, PA (767-1551) or see details at the Information Table.

EMAIL NEWSLETTERS
Help us be good stewards!  We are creating an e-mail list to distribute newsletters in a more timely, cost-efficient, environmentally-friendly way. Participation is entirely voluntary. If you would like to receive our newsletter by email, call the office at 938-2093 or send an e-mail to sabrenaj@ptd.net. We will be glad to remove you from the mailing list.

HIDDEN HOPE FOR HARD TIMES
Did you know the church is praying for those in financial times?  "Hidden Hope for Hard Times:  Sustaining words for difficult financial days" offers 30 days of guidance, comfort, & growth to you, your friends, relatives or colleagues.  The book is FREE at http://spiritworks.org/books/30-days-of-hidden-hope-for-hard-times. The aim of this little book is to help us all get through the next 30 days -- to muddle through as best we can.   Some days we do okay, setting aside worries, and even rediscover joy.  Other days we are relieved when the day is over and crawl back under the covers.  This book is for those times.  Take time now to read a few excerpts for yourself -- then send it on to others who seek a word of hope.

LABELS FOR EDUCATION
The Confirmation Class will begin collecting Campbell’s product labels for the Neighborhood Center. Information on which product labels to collect is posted on the bulletin board at the Information Table. Contact Lindsey Kelly at 932-0979.
