Each one of us is a minister for Jesus Christ as we live our faith at home, at work, and in the community. All that we do as Christians makes up the mission outreach of Lawrence Avenue United Methodist Church.

You see our members teaching school, providing law enforcement, serving on community boards and committees, working with youth, raising families, serving dinners, are all ministers as they live their life as Christian witnesses.

Also, as a church we support 3 missionaries: The Enrights in the Congo, the Burton-Lewis' in Japan, and the Hudy family in Bolivia.

We are strong supporters of the CROP Walk and world hunger and relief work. We give with an open heart to our local missions such as Helping Hands and Eaton Shelter/Siren. We provide Community Dinners which are served at no cost for all who come. Each year we have a work camp that helps us grow in faith and fellowship as we serve.

In recent years our church has given more than $75,000 each year to others through missions and apportionments.
