Youth News! CHARIS SCHEDULE: May 2008
Meetings are 5:00-6:30 PM on Sundays and will rotate monthly between the churches so that we all become comfortable in all churches.  Our hope is that this time will provide better family time and a better opportunity to finish up any extraneous home work that might need to be completed Sunday night.  Leaders will be Rev. Karen Wheat, and Krista and Josh from Peace Lutheran.

Sr. Highs - We've got lots planned for Charis (grades 9-12) : Our continuing relationship with  Peace Lutheran leads us to ever increasing opportunities for fun.

  Charis Schedule

May 4 – 6:30PM Swimming at the Charlotte Aquatic Center.  This event is FREE!!!!!!!!! Meet at the pool and one of your counselors will be there to let you in.  Family and friends are invited as well if you so desire.  If you need a ride, contact Rev. Karen 543-4670

May 11  - NO CHARIS!  Take your mother to dinner!

May 18  – Put Talks about Thailand - Piyaphob Karoonyavanich has been a part of our group all year and we have never taken the time to really get to know about Thailand.  He will be leaving for Thailand on June the 10th, and before he leaves he will share some things about his country and culture with us.  Bring your friends and family if you like.  This event is open to everyone.

Saturday, June 7 –Lugnuts Ball Game in the Evening.  More information coming soon!

 

Sunday, June 8th – Craig’s Cruzers and Farewell Party for Put.

We will be leaving from LAUMC early afternoon. We will have food and fun and get home when we get there! There will be more info coming in the next few weeks, but we wanted to make sure you got this fun event on your calendars!
