United Methodist Faith Circle
The Faith Circle of the Laurium United Methodist Church meets the third Wednesday, September through May at the Church.  The September meeting is a dinner at a restaurant.  Members raise money through a Christmas Bazaar, pasty sales, bake sales, rummage sales, and silent auctions. They also help supply the paper products in the kitchen.  After each meeting, members enjoy a light lunch and fellowship.  New members are always welcome to join us.

United Methodist Women
The Methodist Women donate money to the church after having a yearly Bazaar. They help with funeral luncheons and with World Day of Prayer.   They serve church refreshments for special programs, make cookie boxes for the shut-ins, help the Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, visit the shut-ins, send Get Well cards to the sick and Christmas cards to all.  We also have rummage sales and bake sales, and donate money to the annual high school senior graduation celebration.   We meet the first Wednesday of every month.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship
The LUMYF (The Youth Group) consists of our future leaders, sixth grade and older.  We invite those from any religious denomination or creed.  Our goal is to reach the youth of the community and build lasting friendships.  Meetings occur every other Tuesday evening at 6:30.  Some of our projects include serving and raising funds at the annual Harvest Festival plus other money-making fundraisers during special occasions.  On Easter Sunday at 7a.m., the youth group conducts the "Sunrise Service".  We also have occasional holiday parties, make crafts for our own, as well as others enjoyment.  At every meeting, we read and discuss devotions, play games; we always have a lot of fun.  At the end of the school year, we attempt to use our fund-raising savings to take a trip or enjoy some other activity.  If you'd like to join our group or know someone who would, please contact our youth leaders.
