Welcome Home!

Our Purpose ~ We Are ~ Our Invitation

Home . . .
Where the heart is . . .
Where love is . . .
Where Christ is . . .
We hope you'll feel right at home the moment you step in our door.

The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. "Sunday best" or casual clothes are fine.

We're friendly, open and accepting. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you'll find this a place where you can grow in your relationship with God.

We're building a community that honors Jesus Christ in all we do - in our worship, in our outreach, in our service and in our personal growth.

Our music is . . . well, uplifting. We sing the old songs - and the new. Some of them are fast, some slow. They're always full of hope.

Our pastor believes in messages that are short and to the point. He hopes to deliver a word that you can "chew on" the rest of the week and apply to your life once you've digested it.

Children are welcome. We have a special message just for children every Sunday and a special ministry that kids can participate in. When kids bring quarters for our Heifer Project "quarter pole," they're helping families all around the world experience the love of Christ through donations of farm animals.

Youth will find this a place where they can move toward maturity in body, mind and spirit and experience the joyful friendship of Christians their own age.

Whatever your age or stage in life, you can grow at your own pace here. You can get as deeply involved in the life of the church as you like. We won't demand any commitment you're unwilling to make. Naturally, we want to see you as often as possible, but we won't think any less of you if other commitments keep you from attending regularly.

We know that in our increasingly mobile society, some people may not be able to stay with us long. But as long as you're in this community, we hope you'll connect your life to ours.

We're a small church with big dreams. We recently purchased 21½ wooded acres on the north side of West Mary Street. We believe God is calling us to develop a multi-purpose park-like campus with a worship center, community life center, walking trails and recreational spaces. Your ideas and support are welcome.

We want to be a place where everyone can deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Come grow with us!

Our purpose . . .

We recently asked our members to describe our purpose as a church. Here is what some of them said . . .
Know the Lord (study Bible, worship, prayer)
Love the Lord and others (as he loves us)
Serve the Lord (others' needs before self)
Share the Lord (in word and action)

-- Ray Miller

Our church is a family of faith, celebrating God's love in worship, proclaiming salvation through Jesus Christ to our community, caring for one another in the spirit of love, nurturing a passion for the Scriptures and dedicating our lives to God's justice, grace and mercy.

-- Jerry Wooley

Accept God's gift of salvation. - 1 Thessalonians 5:9; John 3:16
Develop a worthy relationship with God (trust, love, and praise) - Ephesians 4:1-6; John 14:1; Matthew 22: 37-38; Hebrews 13:15
Demonstrate God's love to others so that they, too, will come to know Him.

-- Jon Fallesen

Our purpose is to worship God, spread the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, fellowship together and be an example and guiding light in our community.

-- Joe Bietka

Our mission is to provide a loving Christ-like atmosphere in which friends and family can worship God and celebrate our life in Jesus Christ. We are committed to worship, missions and fellowship - which allow us to share the peace, love and joy of Jesus Christ. We will nurture and teach the children of God to celebrate Christ, rejoice in the Resurrection and grow in Christian love.

-- Brent Reinhardt

Our purpose is to provide a way to Christ.

-- Jerry Wooley
