Worship

We come together to sing and to pray,
     to listen for God's Word
          as we hear the Bible read and interpreted;

     to see old friends and make new ones;

     to discover how God's story and our story
          intersect and intertwine.

Worship is the main time the people of faith gather.

Our worship time is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We need
     the polarity of each style to open us into a new sense of meaning
     within worship and within our lives.

Respecting tradition and celebrating the new gives us a sense of spirit
     and renewal enabling us to embrace the principalities and powers of
     the week ahead.

Hearing-assisted devices aare available by request of the Ushers.
     We project the hymns and prayers on a screen enabling those
     who have difficulty with sight to better follow and participate in
     worship.
