Membership & Nurture

While we wait for God to work for us, God is waiting to work through us!

Our church outreach includes:

Sending encouragement cards once a month to those who are shut in or seriously ill. The first Sunday of each month is “Teddy Bear Sunday”. Envelopes are in the pews and are marked “TB” and have a sticker. Suggested donation is only $1.00. The fund is used to purchase bears and help in nurturing our members and friends.

First time visitors receive spaghetti dinner tickets donated by the United Methodist Men.

First Bibles are given to new babies and infants.

Sending “Missing you” postcards to members who miss four Sundays in a row.

The purchasing of “Care Notes” for the good of the community. These are displayed on the wall beside the pastor’s office.

Birthday Cards are sent to children from Crib Room through the 12^th grade. Christian Education pays for the cards and membership / nurture pays the postage and sends the cards each month.

We are God’s hands with help from the congregation and share God’s love with others.
