How to get to First United Methodist Church in Gilford, NH
From the North via Littleton
- Take 93 south exiting towards Meredith Rt. 104
- Pass Lakes Pemigewasset, Wicwas and Wanakee Methodist Center. Turn right onto Meredith Center Rd.
- Go through Meredith Village, bearing right on Meredith Center Rd.
- Go straight at intersection of Meredith Center Rd. and Parade Rd. onto Elm Street. Follow to traffic lights in Lakeport
- Turn right at traffic light onto Union Avenue (US 3), following it through next traffic light. Bear left there.
- Pass Laconia High School on left and take a left at the next traffic light onto Gilford Avenue
- Stay on Gilford Avenue to next set of traffic lights. Go straight through lights.
- Church is on the left about 1/4 mile from light, road is Wesley Way.
From the South via Massachusetts or Concord
- Take 93 north to Exit 20
- Turn left at traffic light onto Route 3/11, Laconia
- Go past Shaw's/Belknap Mall on the left
- Take right after the mall's traffic light onto 3/11 toward Gilford/Gunstock
- Take second exit and turn right at stop sign onto Rt. 11A
- Church is about 1/4 mile down on the left side of the road.
From Maine via Portsmouth
- Take Spaulding Turnpike north to exit 15 onto Rt. 11 north
- Stay on Rt. 11 through Alton and Alton Bay
- Bear left on Rt. 11A, passing the Gunstock Ski Area and continue on 11A
- church is on the left about two miles from the blinking light at Gilford Village.
From Berlin, Gorham, Conway
- Take Rt. 16 south to 25 west to Meredith
- Go left onto Rt. 3 toward Laconia
- Rt. 3 will take you through the Weirs where you bear right
- Just past the Margate (on the right) take a left at the traffic light
- Follow through two more traffic lights and take a right onto 3/11 bypass
- Take the first exit off 3/11 bypass onto Rt. 11A in Gilford
- Turn left and go through the traffic lights
- The church is about 1/4 mile from the traffic lights on the left
