CHRISTMAS
SWEETS CONCERT AND DESSERT
December
5 at 7:00 PM
Start the season with a
celebration! We will have a special
evening of music and sweets with the Carter Mountain Brass Band Christmas
Concert in the sanctuary. At
intermission, come to Fellowship Hall for a special dessert, a surprise unlike
any you have had here before.
Tickets are available at
the Church office or the Sundial shop in Laconia. Cost –
$ 10.00, children 12 and under - $5.00.
Every year this has been a
sell-out, so don’t wait until the last moment to get you ticket. The band will be playing music of the season
interspersed with stories and poems.
Thank
You
Many,
many thanks to all of you for your participation and support for the Glad
Tidings Christmas Fair. Once again, I’m
overwhelmed. Jane Reep.
Lakes
Region Singers Concert
Friday,
December 18 – 7:30 PM
It wouldn’t be Christmas
without this concert! (We hope for no blizzard this year) Always outstanding, this is a concert that
can’t be missed. Our own Betty Welch
directs a chorus of local folks who love to sing to you. More information will be in the next
newsletter, but mark your calendar now. Free will offering.
The
Snowflakes are Back!
The 2009 Pepi Herrmann handcrafted, crystal snowflakes are here and
will go fast! These collectible snowflakes are a new design from the
2008 snowflakes sold last year. They can
be hung in windows to catch the sun’s rays, hung on the Christmas tree, or worn
as a necklace – either way, they are gorgeous.
You won’t want to miss your chance to purchase these beautiful crystal
creations that make wonderful gifts for the Christmas and winter season.
The snowflakes are
available for purchase at upcoming church functions, after church each Sunday,
through the church office (524-3289) or by contacting Rob or Vicki Stewart
(293-4579). This is the final Finance
Committee fundraiser of 2009 – please help us end meet our financial goals.

Flowers
Needed
Please
sign up to give flowers by signing up on the flower chart on the bulletin board
in the Fellowship Hall. Complete one of
the small slips located by the flower chart, and leave it in Joyce’s mailbox
outside the office door. Order your
flowers for delivery, or bring them prior to the start of worship. And thank you!
Are
You Ready to Help?
The list for snow plowing
is up in the Fellowship Hall. We invite
you to sign up. Sign up with someone
else to help as well—many hands make light work.
The sign-up sheet for
fellowship time is on the wall near the kitchen. People are needed to provide goodies for
Sunday after worship. Would you be
willing to help? Sign up with a friend
or your family. Thank you.
