Youth Day at Red Cove

Kids of all ages are welcome to join us at Red Cove on Thursday, July 17th from 11 am to whatever time we feel like coming home!  There will be no lifeguard on duty, so the younger kids will need to have an adult with them at all times.  If you have lifejackets, we recommend you bring them!  Food and fun will be provided.

If you need a ride, be at the church by 10:30 am.  Kids will be dropped back at the church by 6:30 pm.

Dear Church Family,

I owe so many thanks to the LUMC family that I hesitate to name names.  Your prayers, visits, cards, food and love have helped me through radiation, chemo and many doctors visits.  One of my doctors called me a miracle, and we know form whom miracles come.  Please keep me in your prayers as I still have chemo and have begun a new round of radiation treatments.

I will thank Pastor Scott by name.  His visits at the hospital and my home were very special.  I attended Sunday School and church recently, picked up by a member and returned home by yet another.  Scott’s sermon was so special to me; he used that “E” word - Evangelism, and told how important it is to tell our story.  I need to collect my thoughts for sharing “My Story.”

                                                                                                                                                                                                            Love,

                                                                                                                                        Carol Lobert
