Easter Lilies
If you would like to order an Easter lily in honor or in memory of a loved one, please fill out an order form which are available on the table in the narthex. Please make a note on the memo line of your check or on the outside of your giving envelope of “Easter lily.” The lilies will be delivered the Saturday before Easter and decorate our sanctuary until Easter Sunday, at which time you are welcome to take them home.

Angel Food News
March menus are now available at Angel Food link to the left and in the church narthex. March orders will be taken Sundays, March 9th & 16th between services and Mondays, March 3rd & 10th at 5:30 pm. The cutoff date for orders taken at Hill Country Elementary will be Friday, March 14th at 11 am.
Distribution will be Saturday, March 29th at 8:15 am.

March Second-Mile Giving
The net breakfast, altar rail and Sunday School donations will go to TWIGS, our after-school program. This program offers Bible study, arts and crafts and a hot meal to all children in the community. TWIGS meets each Tuesday from 4:30 - 6 pm following the Bandera ISD calendar.
The second mile donations received on Easter Sunday will go to Southwest Texas Conference new church starts. The conference has set a goal of five million dollars for new church starts around the region. There will be a celebration during Annual Conference in Corpus Christi to conclude this campaign. Special giving envelopes will be available in the bulletins on Easter Sunday for this second-mile donation.

Confirmation News
Confirmation Classes will begin Sunday, March 30th during Sunday School time (9:20 am) and will run for 8 weeks. There will be a district-wide Confirmation Celebration on Saturday, April 5th at 1st UMC in Kerrville beginning at 10 am. Confirmation will be Sunday, May 18th

United Methodist Youth Fellowship News
In the coming months, the Lakehills UMC United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) will be having a number of fundraisers to help offset the cost of the youth summer mission trips. They are planning several breakfast fundraisers that will be held between worship services on the first Sunday on each month through June.
This year, the junior high group will be going to Rockdale, Texas June 9 - 14 for the Reaching Others Through Christ (ROTC) mission program. The senior high group will be going to the United Methodist Action Reach-Out Mission by Youth (UMARMY) in Alice, Texas June 15 - 21. All the kids are excited about these trips, and eager to go.
In the meantime, regular UMYF activities continue. Those are UMYF meetings each Sunday from 5 - 7:30 pm, during which there is food, fun and fellowship, and junior and senior high study classes available each Tuesday during TWIGS. TWIGS is our after-school program from 4:30 - 6 pm, and follows the Bandera ISD calendar.
