As you can see from the table above, March is the only month this year that we have had more in donations than expenses. Even though our mortgage has been paid off, we still need $3,932 each week to stay within our budget for 2008.
April was dismal month for donations. With over $6,000 more in expense than income, the General Fund balance has been all but depleted. May has been a little better. The first two weeks of May, the donations were a little over $5000. But that slacked off in the third and fourth weeks. We did not meet the amount needed each week to stay within our budget again. (The amounts listed for May are through May 29th.)
With summer and summer vacations coming up, please remember that we rely completely on donations to pay our expenses. We need your pledges to stay up to date even when you’re not here!
