The Shell Cross

 Tenderly they took Him,
From the cruel cross,
His disciples felt forsaken,
At such enormous loss.

Wordlessly, His mother,
Embraced His body, cold,
The tomb meant for another,
Now, Jesus, it would hold.

Joyfully, that Sunday,
The Resurrection morn,
Our Lord arose, that one day,
Through Him, we'd be reborn.

Trustingly, we consecrate,
To the Holy Trinity,
The Shell Cross we now dedicate,
A sign of Calvary.
