Sacraments. Worship. Sanctification. Christian Life. Hope. Resurrection.
Eternal Life.
Here is a unique opportunity to know more of the
central teachings of the Christian faith, to explore the connections between
doctrine and Scripture, between believing and living, to wrestle with some
of the questions of belief Christians have wrestled with for the last 2000
years and to be equipped for living faithfully and passing on the faith to
others.
Groups consist of twelve members and a leader. Each
participant is responsible for reading and taking notes on Scripture and
assigned readings in the book of readings and weekly participation in the
group study. Each participant receives a reading package that includes a
study manual and a book of reading from Christian sources, both ancient and
modern, on the doctrine of the Christian faith. The cost for the reading
materials is $50.
This study of the classical doctrines of the Christian
faith aims at presenting, explaining, and interpreting Christian doctrine as
the basic teaching of the church to the end that informed believing leads to
committed discipleship.
