CELEBRATE PENTECOST! THREE-WEEK STUDY BEGINS -- When God Calls -- Beginning on Sunday, May 11, Prof. Nancy Duff, Stephen Colwell Associate Professor of Theological Ethics at Princeton Theological Seminary, will lead us in a discussion of how God calls each of us into a divinely appointed purpose throughout our lives -- at different times in different ways. We will meet in Anderson House (behind the church) right after the church service (approx. 11:30 to 1 p.m.). Participants may bring a brown-bag lunch. The program will continue for three Sundays, May 11, 18, and 25. Everyone is welcome; participation is not limited to church members. Sunday, May 18 -- We will include a Service of Healing on this Sunday. Incorporating the traditions of annointing with oil and laying on of hands, we will offer an opportunity for people to pray for personal healing, be it physical, emotional, or spiritual. REGULAR SUNDAY SERVICES Join us at 10:00 a.m. for Sunday worship. Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers. A time of fellowship and refreshments follows the service. |
We are an open, caring community of faith, brought together by the Grace of God, committed to creating an environment of growth and healing through the example of Jesus Christ.
We believe in holding hands, in singing, dancing, laughing, crying together; in feeding the hungry in body and in spirit, in healing, in the Grace of God, in Jesus and His teachings; in the power of prayer; in small, everyday miracles; in the wonder of children; in the story of the butterfly.
The Butterfly is a symbol for this church community of a new day dawning and the happiness that goes with a new life in Christ. Come and join us in worshipping the Lord. May that new life-changing source of God's peace dwell with you!

Our service includes a time of personal sharing, as people feel open, about the joys and concerns of our lives. We have also incorporated a time following the service to talk, meet new people, share some laughs and hugs. We may have fruit or sweets, and we always have coffee and friendship. Come enjoy Sunday morning with us.
