Vacation Bible School 2008...June 23 through 27
Would you like to spend a whole week this summer at a huge Beach Party complete with surfing lessons, great beach music, beachcombing adventures, and so much more? If yes, then mark your calendars for June 23-27 when John Wesley will be having a Beach Party VBS, “Surfin Through the Scriptures”. It will be held every night that week from 6:30–9:00 p.m., with our annual ice scream social on Friday night.
The ages will be 3–5 year olds in the preschool area, and 6 year olds through kids entering 6th grade in the elementary group. It is going to be a great time! We have most of our leaders for the fun stations, but are still looking for more. If you would be interested in a leader position, please let me know. We will also need plenty of volunteers to help out for the week; those signup sheets will be coming later.
For you tweens entering 7th and 8th grade, we will have special areas that you can help out in, like assistant lifeguards, stations assistants and more. For you high schoolers, we will have plenty of openings for you also, so if you have time this summer to share the word of the Lord with kids that would be great. You will be seeing more messages from me and the group in upcoming months.
