Upward Basketball Camp: July 7-11, 2008
JWUMC is hosting its 5th annual Upward Basketball Camp this summer. The camp will be held on Monday July 7th through Friday July 11th from 6:00-8:30 p.m. Temporary basketball courts will be set up in the main parking lot at JWUMC. We will also be using our basketball court in Wesley Hall, so camp will held rain or shine.
Any boy or girl, who will be in K-4th grade next school year, are invited to participate. The early registration cost per child is $35. After June 23, 2008, the cost will be $45. The registration fee includes an Upward camp t-shirt, basketball and water bottle, and a camp poster. Registration deadline is June 27. Registration forms can be found on the table outside the church office or contact Tom Robertson at 858-6256. Anyone who would like to help during the camp, please put your name on the sign-up sheet located in the narthex or contact Tom Robertson. We will need volunteers for the prayer team, coaches, and the refreshment team.
We Need Your Help!
Every child is a winner! We need lots of volunteers to make our camp a successful one. We need coaches, assistant coaches, a refreshment crew, a childcare crew, and a facilities crew. Please contact Tom Robertson at 858-6256 to volunteer ASAP.
Please note that anyone who works with children at any time at JWUMC (VBS, Upward, Rainbow Friends, JKJ, Bible Buddies, etc.) must sign a Safe Sanctuaries Policy Disclosure/Consent form in order to work with children.
