Classes for Children
The purpose of Children's Sunday School is to provide a necessary spiritual journey start for children of all ages. Our Sunday School program focuses on letting children know that God's love is unconditional and that church is a good place to be, as it encourages children to apply biblical lessons to their own lives. We are very excited about the new and expanded offerings for children at JWUMC!
Classes are offered at 9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. for all children, and at 11:30 for 2 years old through 5th grade.
9:00 Children's Classes:
Nursery - 2 years old & Under
Room 2 - Toddlers
Room 4 - Preschool - 1st Grade
Room 8 - 2nd - 5th Grade
10:15 Childern's Classes:
Nursery - 2 years old & Under
Room 2 - Toddlers
Room 3 - Preschool
Room 4 - K & 1st Grade
Room 7 - 2nd & 3rd Grade
Room 5 - 4th & 5th Grade
10:15 Middle and High School Youth Classes:
Room 6A - Middle School (6th - 8th Grade)
Room 6B - High School (9th - 12th Grade)
11:30 Children's Classes:
Nursery - 2 years & Under
Room 4 - Preschool - 1st Grade
Room 8 - 2nd - 5th Grade
Please note that anyone who works with children at any time at JWUMC (VBS, Upward, Rainbow Friends, JKJ, Bible Buddies, etc.) must sign a Safe Sanctuaries Policy Disclosure/Consent form in order to work with children. Classes for Adults
Do you every wonder what opportunities are available for you in Sunday school? Do you think Sunday school is just for children?
As we grow to be the Disciples that Christ calls us to be we need to be aware of three important principles:

Growing as a Disciple is your personal responsibility to take leaps of faith;

Growing as a Disciple is the Body of Christ's responsibility to encourage and hold each other accountable when and where you take leaps of faith; and,
-
Growing as a Disciple is not just the Pastor's responsibility. It is every leader's responsibility to provide Opportunities and equipping of the saints for ministry so that all may take leaps of faith.
At John Wesley we take these growth steps and responsibilities seriously. We want you to grow as a Disciple and to become all that God sees in you. Following is a listing of Sunday morning adult study offerings at 10:15 a.m.. We hope you will find a study to join. All are welcome in any of the studies and there is always room for more!
