Purpose
The youth ministry of JUMC
exists to build life-long, committed disciples of Jesus Christ. Based on this
mission, youth group activities are designed to meet youth wherever they may be
in their spiritual journeys and call them into deeper walks with Christ.
Activities range from fun and fellowship, Bible study, mission, and service.

identities within the group. One starts in Alpha (the 1st letter in
the Greek alphabet) and end in Omega (the last letter) in his or her trek
through the youth program.
The
Barnabas Team
We
have just established an adult leadership team for youth called the Barnabas
Team (the disciple that encouraged Paul). The group will be helping me in
planning weekly meetings, events, trips, etc. In addition, they will be
participating in a Prayer Partnership, where they will be praying for 1 or 2
assigned students daily, contacting them weekly, and meeting with them monthly.
This program is focused on keeping kids engaged in the program, provide
accountability and caring, and provide discipleship. If you have any questions,
please feel free to call me.
