OLDER ADULT GROUP
The Pairs 'n' Spares is our over 50 year olds group which meets
on the first Tuesday night of each month for fellowship and
inspirational devotion. All people in that age bracket are most
welcome. We have short programs, with scripture, prayer and a
short business session followed by a delicious meal or
refreshments. We enjoy the food, fellowship and sharing during
this period. We go out sometimes for our meal and meeting.
We are a busy group of Senior Adults. Some have worked at the
Rainbow Pantry, Our Daily Bread and Special Olympics. They also
join our United Methodist Women in picking up their mile to keep
our neighborhood clean and beautiful. We attended the Poplar
Springs Camp Meeting again this past summer. We donated to the
building fund of our church and also to the Madison County Senior
Center. We continue to place flowers in the sanctuary one Sunday
of the year. If you would like to be part of our meal together
as our guest, please check with the
church office 706 795-3734 for details.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our many Sunday School classes meet for
assembly in the sanctuary at 9:45 on Sunday mornings for the
assembly, announcements and a devotional message. The classes,
ranging in age from the cradle through older adult go to their
classes at 10 am. The children are divided by age groups, the
youth have several classes, the young adults choose between
college/career and young couples. The teachers are loving and
well-trained. The adults choose between classes in the
traditional manner, the international Sunday School lesson and
more subject/Bible Book oriented studies. All people seeking a
closer walk with God are welcome.
